OUR appeal on behalf of Roy Deane's Rochmine Archive last week has helped unearth several rock stars' cars.
Maurice Takoor, whose company specialises in valuing collectors' cars and street rods phoned us because he's just sold Jeff Beck's customised 1923 Model T, nicknamed the BostonStrangler.
He said: The car was sold to Led Zeppelin's John Borham. When he died it went to various owners and I ended up trying to sell it for Jeffrey Pattinson of Coys. I've just sold it to a company which is putting it in an Arnerican theme restaurant - maybe they could hold fans' conventions around it! "
Maurice also knows where the Ford Popular from "Give My Regards To Broad Street" and the Model T once owned by The Who's Keith Moon are.
