OLIVER STONE'S latest film on sixties rock legends The Doors has attracted much media coverage.

Newspapers, magazines and TV programmes have all passed their critical gaze over Stone's look at The Doors' charismatic lead singer Jim Morrison.

So, in a bid to find the ultimate insight to Morrison's nature, it is hardly surprising the media people have turned their attention'to Perthshire based rock archivist Roy Deane.

He has just been interviewed for a forthcoming Sky TV special on the band that had million selling hits with songs such as 'Light My Fire' and 'Hello, I Love You' before Morrison died in 1971.

A founder of The Doors Information Service, Roy is an expert on the group.
