A PERTH man is looking for people who met the Beatles to help him pro duce a history of the band's time in Scotland.
Music archivist Roy Deane wants to hear from anyone who has background stories or anecdotes about the band.
The Fab Four played in Kirkcaldy and Dundee in 1963 when they stayed at the Salutation Hotel in Perth.
In 1964 they returned to play a concert at Dundee's Caird Hall and were based in St Fillans. Police reinforcements were called in when some fans discovered where the band were hiding.
Roy aims to follow the group's connection with Scotland from the birth of Stuart Sutcliffe in Edinburgh.
Sutcliffe was a member of the Silver Beatles but died in Hamburg before the band achieved success.
He is also trying to collect Scottish-based memorabilia to help illustrate the story.
Roy said, "The Beatles in Scotland is one area that hasn't been documented properly so it is an exciting project."
