A PAIR of trousers once worn by the legendary Jimi Hendrix will be the centrepiece for an unusual exhibitlon which opens in a Perth shop tomorrow.
The largest exhibition of rock and pop memorabilia seen in this area will be on show at Fast Frame in the St John's Centre for a week when in addition to the rockstar's trousers there will be a host of other items from the rock and pop heydays of the sixties and seventies.
The exhibition is a joint venture between Ivy and Alex Gerrard who run Fast Frame and local rock music archivist Roy Deane.
Among the items they have put together for the exhibition is a poster for a concert at Dundee's Caird Hall in 1976 where the line-up was to have been The Sex Pistols, The Clash, Johnny Thunders and The Damned. It was to have been part of The Sex Plstols first national tour but was cancelled when the group was banned throughout the country.
The poster was made only for the Caird Hall and was removed by a fan from a hoarding when it was first put up.
Many of the pleces or memorabilia will be for sale and tomorrow Roy will be on hand to answer questlons on any of the items.
