Helen Shapiro, a sixteen-year-old from London, had been voted Best British Female Singer for both 1961 and 1962. The Beatles perform four songs, "Chains", "Keep Your Hands Off My Baby", "A Taste of Honey", and "Please Please Me". With the tour's second date three days away, The Beatles travel back to Liverpool after the show to appear at the Cavern Club.

At the time of the incident the name was owned by Jasmine but it has since been transferred to Bobby.

Insolvency experts Pricewaterhouse Coopers brokered the deal. The financial crisis came after it was revealed that the £ 15 million centre had lost £ 1.1 million since opening in March through its inability to attract sufficient visitors.
