Sheryl Crow's Signed Dr. Martens Boots

Sheryl Crow's signed Dr. Martens boots as worn at the 1997 Glastonbury Festival.

Mounted for exhibition by Dr. Martens with Glastonbury wrist band, backstage pass and CD case.

Dr. Martens staged an exhibition of boots worn by some of the stars of the 1997 festival. Each was displayed as seen here with a plexiglass cover.

Following the exhibition, the footware company donated the boots to the UK charity, 'Shelter'. Shops around the UK were given a pair of boots to act as an incentive for members of the public to donate sports gear. At the end of a set period, whoever donated the largest value of sporting equipment, to each participating shop, would win a pair of boots.

Despite receiving widespread publicity, several pairs of boots remained at the end of the period. This pair was in the Inverness branch of Shelter to which no sports goods had been donated! As a result, the company agreed to accept a cash donation in return for the boots. In transit to the branch, the plexiglass cover was cracked.

£ 425.

UK insured delivery included.
