Rockmine's Video Archive has been amassed over 37 years and is vast. The collection has been made without any personal preference. My aim has always been to acquire anything that could be regarded as contemporary music; not just rock or pop.
My greatest interest has always been in interviews, so I've recorded everything possible. From the long established late-night U.S. chat shows through the halcyon time of OGWT and the early days of satellite with MTV, Super Channel and Sky Trax, I have almost everything. From Johnny Carson and Ed Sullivan through Conan, Hefner, Letterman, Ellen, Colbert, Kimmel, Fallon and now Cordon; to Aspel, Parkinson, Wogan, Evans, Ross, Carr and Norton. Some stars, like Dave Grohl and Henry Rollins, have even taken to the interviewer's chair - and I have those too.
There are complete (or almost complete) runs of iconic shows like Beat Beat Beat, Beat Club, Hollywood Palace, Hullabaloo, MTV Unplugged, Musikladen, Playboy After Dark, Saturday Night Live, Shindig, Soul Train, Supersonic, The !!!! Beat, The Johnny Cash Show, The Monkees. Apart from those, I have more than half of all the Top Of The Pops and Old Grey Whistle Test ever broadcast. Then there are the other shows: Austin City Limits, Don Kirshner's Rock Concert, Later... With Jools Holland, Night Music, Pete Seeger's Rainbow Quest, Riverside, Rock Goes To College, Rockpalast, RockPop.
Most of the reality shows are here: Braxton Family Values, Chasing Saturdays, Gene Simmons' Family Jewels, Keyshia Cole All In, Married To Jonas, Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party, Rev Run's Sunday Suppers, Rock This Boat, Supergroup, The Osbournes, Tommy Lee Goes To College and many more. There are the festivals (Glastonbury, Isle Of Wight, Pinkpop, Reading, T In The Park, Woodstock '69 and '94), the award shows (The Brits, CMA, The Grammys; MTV). The list goes on ... and on.
