Rushworths Music House.

Rushworths have been the largest musical instrument store in Liverpool for decades. Most of the Merseybeat artists have been regular customers here - as were the Beatles.

James Rushworth, chairman of the family firm, even had the Beatles electro-acoustic Gibson 145 guitars specially flown from the factory in Chicago. On their arrival, a formal presentation was arranged that would do much to cement the relationship of the store with the group.
